Congress to Gain Mileage in the General Election 2024

The speculation is almost over. The rank and file over the Congress leadership for the prime ministerial candidate for 2024 election is almost stable when Rahul Gandhi has hinted that he is ready to take the responsibility if the party thinks he can deliver the best. The feeling inside the party among the senior leaders that Rahul must not be projected as a prime minister against Narendra Modi was over. The pro-development approach and quick decisions of the Congress think tank in the last two months, whether CAA Bill or corruption anti-graft measures, is clearly indicating that the party is aligned with Rahul's ideas.

With the current assembly election results, it is clearly evident that the young generation of India, which holds more than 70% of population, is expecting young men to lead the nation. The Congress in the wake of new dynamics of politics have revamped a lot in its political system. For example, paving way to young men to lead Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan is a clear indication of stopping elitist politics of the party.

Many critics dismiss Rahul’s experience over Modi's cunningness and wiliness, but the party has surely shown a trust on the shoulders of Rahul that he will come out victorious among the pack of wolves. The clamour for Rahul's leadership among the party worker is meteorically growing, indicating that the party must leave its old political system and embrace the new order. They want his name to be announced when the Congress leadership meets for election strategies and methodologies.

On the other hand, the BJP and RSS have rational motives to worry about Lok Sabha election. The emergence of Arvind Kejriwal and the steadily growing support of AAP all of India can cause a serious damage in the number game.

Believe it or not, there is a striking similarity between Arvind Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Three of them are ardent practitioners of Vipassana meditation. We hope they will find ways to form a formidable opponent to the grown and mature popularity of Modi.
